About H. John

I was born and raised in Montreal, Canada and lived all across the Country from Nova Scotia, to Ontario and British Columbia before relocating to the United States in 1999. I have worked throughout the U.S., Europe, and China and then finally settled in Florida where I first lived in the Palm Beach area on the East Coast before falling in love with the West Coast and making beautiful Clearwater Beach, Florida my home. I attended Lambton, College and graduated with a Diploma in Electronic Engineering Technology. However, after college, I realized I preferred working with people and became a Consultant working for the world's largest management consulting firm Andersen Consulting (now known as Accenture).

I am married and have 3 grown children, 2 grand kids and 2 very cute westies. I work with my wife and partner Kathie Lea and we run one of the top 1% of Real Estate Teams in the County based on sales volume. We enjoy helping clients realize their real estate dream. We pride ourselves in first understanding each client's needs whether they are selling or buying, and then doing our research and coming up with a plan designed to not only meet their expectations but to exceed them. We have built our business on word of mouth, one client at a time. We have surrounded ourselves with a team of dedicated, full-time, experienced professionals who care as much about our customers as we do.

In my real estate career, I have successfully negotiated tens of millions of dollars in properties during the toughest real estate market in many decades. I have a love for the water, I specialize in waterfront property, live on the water and I am a USCG Licensed Captain. I am also a licensed mortgage loan originator and the founder of SOHFF,LLC. We have helped hundreds of families avoid foreclosure by negotiating short sales and loan modifications. We have worked with investors to help them close on income producing properties and liquidate non-performing assets.
