Anna Gimpel is the best of the best. My wife and I are super picky first-time home buyers with the high-end tastes (but with not-that high budget). Anna understood our priorities and preferences very fast, and showed properties matching with them. Anna is one of very few realtors who says "this is not for you" when we visit a property, if she caught something we missed. During our a year-long search for a house with 15-20 visits, we never felt any push from her but felt warm care in every minutes. Anna's philosophy of buying a house was great too. When I started to feel sorry for her time to show us many properties that we are not taking with very small and picky reasons, she said "Sure. You should be falling in love with the house you are buying. Don't buy one if that is not the one you love." In the end, as she said, we found the one we love. That's the way we don't feel regret, even though both price and interest were very high. Yes, we should love a house we are buying. Anna will be there to help you find one. Anna is not an usual agent who just sell a house. She is a portal of information very useful to manage houses with having a great network with local contractors and handy man. After buying a house, we still rely on her, and she always helps us like a real good friend. First let me say how horrible I feel for just now posting my review. Mainly because Anna was awesome, and truly the best real estate agent we have ever worked with. We will definitely use her in the future when/if we move back to the area. There were so many good things to say about Anna and this home selling experience that it's hard to know where to begin, but here we go. It has been 11 months since Anna helped us sell our home of 14 years in the Seaford area of Yorktown. It was the only home our daughter had ever known and the 2nd home we had owned in the 20+ years we lived in Yorktown. We interviewed 4 real estate agents and researched at least 30 total. Two of the agents that we interviewed seemed arrogant and uncaring. One was nice but didn't seem eager. Anna covered all bases and my wife fell in love with her after the 1st interview (I wasn't there for that interview, hence the reason for 2 interviews with Anna). I could go on and on about all the normal stuff hear about agents, which Anna checks the box on each and every category. But what we loved the most was her personality and of course the staging. Anna mad our house look so good during the staging that my wife wants to hire her to help decorate our next house. Anna honestly felt like family, immediately. I know she is there for us because it is her job, but it never felt like that with her. She is kind, smart, and professional. But she is also no-nonsense and a go-getter. We ended up selling our house within 6 hours and getting above asking price. Plus we didn't have a lot of hoops to jump through with closing and repairs, etc. Anna was there every step of the way. All this during the middle of a pandemic. Another great aspect of Anna, she keeps in contact with her former clients. We get birthday cards (for us and the kids), Christmas cards, mother's day cards, etc. all the time from Anna. I could talk for hours about how great our experience was and how great Anna and her team are at what they do, but don't take my word for it, look at her reviews, stats, and CALL her. You won't regret it! Best realtor in all of Tidewater/ Hampton Roads and definitely the best in Yorktown! Thanks Anna!!!
