About John

John Brink’s family first settled in Sarasota, Florida in the 1960s when all four of John’s grandparents moved into the same Sarasota neighborhood. John’s parents also began purchasing local real estate and moved to Sarasota in the 1970s.

John had two highly successful uncles that were Realtors and a big influence on his career as a real estate professional. These uncles mentored John in the real estate business. John’s first experience selling real estate was in 1985 when he successfully marketed and sold his first waterfront home under the guidance of his uncle who was a highly successful commercial Realtor in the Los Angeles. 

After graduation from college with a Marketing and Business Administration degrees, John worked in the financial services industry helping real estate developers form partnerships with equity investors. This lead to his working as a commercial real estate agent in St. Petersburg, Florida. Within two years of becoming a Florida Licensed Real Estate Agent, John took his real estate studies further and became a Florida Licensed Real Estate Broker so that he could legally manage or own real estate brokerages. John started his first real estate brokerage in St. Petersburg but sold it to his business partners when he needed to moved back to Sarasota in 2008 to help his aging parents. Since then, John decided to start a real estate marketing company and another real estate brokerage called SRQ Premier Realty that is still a Sarasota Boutique Real Estate Business that specializes in helping home sellers in the Sarasota area market fine luxury homes to the World. Having established global relationships, John decided to also purchase Oceans Global Realty and is in the process of expanding the company with more agents and hopes to franchise new locations everywhere possible.

Oceans Global Realty has the luxury of having the relationship with SRQ Premier Realty as it's International Multi-Media Marketing and Advertising hub. Agents at Oceans Global Realty have every technology and marketing capabilities a Realtor could ever desire. 

Today, John enjoys spending time with his large local family, close friends and a multitude of clients who also became friends. John is an avid boater, active member of the Sarasota Yacht Club, and is certified as a Waterfront Specialist by the National Association of Realtors and a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist - Guild Level Member.
