Anyone reading this review is most likely considering a move to the Colorado Springs area or relocating within this area. When we decided in Sept. 2020, to move here after living in beautiful Chester County, PA, for over 50 years, we had no idea that the Springs area was one of the hottest real estate markets in the nation. We had no idea which part of town would be a good fit for us. We had no idea how to make an offer in what felt like a fast game with big betters that had much more available cash than we had. It was an overwhelming venture that would not have ended happily without a highly experienced, skillful agent who confidently led us step by step, as she promised, “to find us a house you will love.” Jenni Dion spent hours on the phone getting to know us and our needs before we left Pennsylvania. As we drove x-country she continued to offer suggestions and addresses we might want to look at once we arrived. Amidst a very busy schedule, we always felt as if we were her #1 priority for working non-stop. Jenni was on top of every new listing the minute it was posted, no matter what time of day, she was accessible and ready to answer any questions or get the answers for us. I have texts to prove very, very late night communications and some at the crack of dawn. Living in this area for over 30 years, Jenni’s expertise goes beyond knowing what makes a professional agent great. She has seen the area grow, knows the history of each community, and rest assured, she will NOT let you buy (or even look at!) a house that has a problem. Her mantra is “I want to sleep at night, resting assured that the house I sell you will be safe and sound without worries (like landslides or underground chemicals.) Her in depth research on a home includes research on the area, consulting with the USGS the only Federal agency with responsibility for recording and reporting earthquake activity nationwide, if this sounds “overboard”, it is not! One house we had interest in was definitely in an area where slides have been reported. Another gorgeous, yet still affordable, home on a cliff was another one that Jenni vetoed. This is not the realtor that is going to sell you a home with even the slightest fear of it being the “wrong house.” One dream home we fell in love with was located so far off a main road, she drove there herself and after hiking up a steep driveway, reported, “I cannot with good conscience sell you this home. You will get in before winter, but not out until May!” When it came time for placing an offer (during a very wacky late summer market) Jenni gave good advice and went so far to say, “Don’t offer THAT much. It’s not worth it. Let’s keep looking.” Being your agent, she represents you with honesty and a genuine interest in what is best for you. When we found a great house, she was swift to get our offer in. When inspections went a little crazy for us, Jenni tackled every detail promptly until each matter was fully corrected and reinspected while we were back packing up in PA. This is the type of super sharp, detailed person that you need working for you, reading every line of every single document. With A+ Integrity and A+ Professionalism, Jenni gives her all for what she promises. She comes through FOR YOU! We love our home and the Woodmoor area and thank Jennifer Dion every single day for helping us make our “fairly monumental” move (for us, at least) happen in less than 5 weeks! Very remarkable. Wish I could give Jenni 10 stars! She earned them!
