We recently relocated to Mount Pleasant from London, England and utilized Tricia’s expertise to find the perfect community/house to call home. About Tricia

Tricia Peterson is the owner and Broker in Charge of Island House Real Estate.  Tricia is a Realtor of Distinction being recognized in the top 5% of Charleston area Realtors.  Tricia has a strong commitment to her clients, and always puts her client’s needs first.

Tricia and her husband Brett, along with their three children, live on Daniel Island.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and subsequently her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.  Prior to starting her real estate career in 2011, Tricia was a Physical Therapist for 10+ years where she utilized her natural gift of working to help others.   As Tricia points out, “the beauty of real estate is that there are so many parallels to physical therapy.  There are more similarities in the careers than you would think.  The most important of which is simply helping people.”  She specializes in helping medical professionals who are moving to the Charleston area.  Tricia has unique advantage of working closely with local contractors, interior designers and multiple trades to make the process of buying and selling a home a smoother process.  Her main goal is to educate clients on the different areas throughout the Charleston region, and ultimately help them make informed decisions that are best for their families.  “ I love that you can feel like you live on vacation every day.  That is what Charleston is.”  It is easy to fall in love with Charleston, finding the right location and home often just takes some research.  With any life-changing move, Tricia realizes that patience and follow up are imperative to being successful in this business.
