Living near Charlotte, NC for most of his life, Neal Pender knows the market, whether you are considering one of the many suburbs in Charlotte itself, or the outlying towns and cities including Concord, Harrisburg, Midland, Kannapolis, Mount Pleasant, Huntersville, Davidson, Cornelius, Mount Holly, Belmont, Denver, Matthews, Mint Hill, Indian Trail, China Grove, Landis or beyond. Neal has lived here since he was eight years old in 1980 when his parents moved here from Richmond, Virginia.

Fast forward to 1995...Upon graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Neal talked to two different family friends who were in real estate. Both of them told him not to get into the industry. And when someone tells a 23 year old NOT to do something, what do they do? Here we are, 27 years later.

Neal has worked with major firms like RE/MAX, Keller Williams, Allen Tate Company (a large, local, independent firm now owned by Howard Hanna), Prudential, as well as a small local firm, before finally setting up his own shop called Impact Carolinas Realty LLC. Through the years, Neal observed that it wasn't his company affiliation that grew his business. It was his work ethic and attention to detail earning the trust of clients for repeat and referral business.

He has attained many designations along the way. These require extra education as well as production levels and annual fees to maintain membership. They include the following:

CRS: Certified Residential Specialist

SRES: Seniors Real Estate Specialist

PSA: Pricing Strategy Advisor

RENE: Real Estate Negotiation Expert

MRP: Military Relocation Professional

REALTOR: Membership to the REALTOR association is a must that bears mentioning

In 2018, Neal began a side project which he still does to this day, although on a limited basis. He teaches various real estate courses, to improve the professionalism of fellow agents. These have included the pre licensing course for those seeking to get into the business, the three post licensing courses that new licensees must complete within 18 months, and the annual continuing education update course required of all brokers in North Carolina. On any given week, Neal might be teaching a course or two, usually in the evenings. They are four hours at a time and they keep him sharp on the laws and rules. They also give him a way to help elevate the quality of brokers in the business which is another passion of his.

These days, Neal is obsessed with utilizing social media marketing to get his clients' needs met. He uses all the major platforms to grow his business and get his clients' properties sold for top dollar. His most recent endeavor is building out a YouTube channel catering specifically to the Greater Charlotte and surrounding areas, called "Neal Pender - Living Near Charlotte". Married to someone WAY out of his league, Neal lives in nearby Concord with his wife Emily and three dogs; large standard poodles, Samson, Capo, and Grandpa. He and his wife play music together frequently. Emily sings beautifully and Neal tries hard to do her justice accompanying on guitar. Music has been a passion since he was 17 years old, discovering blues and learning about its influence on just about every other music style.
