She explained in detail the process of buying a home in CA. As recent relocatees from Massachusetts, this was important. For example, we had no idea what Mello-Roos was and why it was important to try and find a home that did not impose that surcharge. She also helped us navigate the various North County San Diego neighborhoods and guided us through the pros and cons each location in terms of travel for work, and also made us think long-term about schools, in case we end up having children (we did!).Lastly she was so patient in explaining the escrow process, in going over all the forms, in helping us fight for a better sale price through her suggested counter-offers. The process was smoother than we ever thought it could be. But that is not all! It's the little touches, like walking into our home for the first time and finding in our (clean!) refrigerator, champagne and a variety of impossibly elegant and delicious appetizers. We toasted our new home and chatted away and felt so taken care of and valued. It felt like we had known Mary Beth for years and we are so happy to say that now we do.
