What do Clients Say?
Through the years Rebecca has kept us apprised of recent sales in our area – this regular communication of information allowed us to make a reasoned decision on when to sell. So of course we turned to her to list. She has just sold an income property for us. The property was priced exactly right for the market and we had a contract in two days of the listing. Rebecca was spot-on with negotiations and we’re very happy with the end result, so much so that she’s about to list another property for us for sale.D. Woodruff
A pleasure to work with, makes you feel like you are her only client.S. Rizzo
My husband and I could not have asked for more than Rebecca gave. The smoothest real estate transaction we have ever experienced. We knew she had our best interests at heart and respected our time by always being prompt, prepared and at the ready. We hope to be looking to buy again soon and Rebecca will be our "go to gal". She will not only be our trusted realtor but a true friend always.V. Brock
Three reasons we're grateful that Rebecca Stewart is our Real Estate Agent: 1. Rebecca is the quintessential professional. 2. Rebecca listens and hears our concerns. 3. Rebecca is a mover and shaker. She gets the job done with style, grace and class!P. Klubnick-Vogt
Rebecca Stewart has helped us purchase two condominiums and is in the process of helping us to sell our initial condo located in downtown Saint Petersburg. Rebecca was highly recommended to us by a mutual friend. She has all the qualities and traits that we look for to either help us purchase or sell property in the Saint Petersburg area---honest, dependable, and very responsive with a wonderful knowledge of the area and good relations with other agents. What I appreciate the most though is that Rebecca will tell you if expectations are realistic or unrealistic and she moves very quickly when a favorable deal is available.E. Smith
My dad was one of the original “real estate flippers.” While HGTV has made this glamorous, I canassure you, it was borderline craziness when my father did it in the 1960’s and1970’s. I moved a great deal as a child– 12 times in third grade! My fatherbought and sold houses as we made our way across the United States, from Coloradoto California to Washington State to Florida. My dad had an eye to see the structural features of a home, despite anyshortcomings in décor or disrepair. He alsowas able to envision the property updated or the floor plan re-worked. Heshowed me what to look for and where easy changes could be made to improve theflow and utility of a home. Real estateseeped right into my blood.
As an adult, I married very young and had two beautifulchildren, first a girl and then a boy. We originally lived in Ft.Lauderdale, Florida but moved to greater Orlando, Florida when the childrenwere still quite young. Unfortunately,my marriage ended while my children were still in elementary school. Part of the reason was that I started toattend college and loved learning! I was growing personally and that made mythen-husband uncomfortable. He gave methe ultimatum: “Either quite school or I’m divorcing you.” After the divorce, I needed to earn a living, and found a job with SunTrust Bank. I worked and decided to finish mydegree at the same time, continuing with night school. This was a very difficult time as I wasraising two children, working full time, and managing two evening classes aswell. I was dedicated to raising mychildren, performing well at work, and studying, so it ended up taking tenyears of persistence and dedication to get through the degree program. Finally, in 1997, I proudly graduated fromRollins College with a B.A. in Managerial Organizational Communication. Thisdegree created upward mobility for my career at SunTrust, and I began to workwith private banking customers. I helped these high net worth individualswith their lending and mortgage needs, as well as with any other bankingassistance they required. I learned tolook at the requested transaction in light of the customer’s overallsituation, both financial and emotional.
While at SunTrust, I found love again with my secondhusband, John. We were married in 1998. However, this marriage necessitated relocating to the east coast of Florida, where I began working for a residential real estate attorney. I learnedabout many of the legal issues related to real estate transactions, as well asthe title side of the business during this time. In 2002, my husband andI moved to St. Petersburg to begin my new career in real estate. We drovein across the Howard Frankland Bridge for the first time, I had that beautifulmoment of clarity when I got “that feeling” – the feeling that I was home!
Studying and earning my real estate license that year, Istarted selling. I have lived here nowfor 12 years and have functioned at the multi-million dollar producer level sinceshortly after I began my career. Althoughmy business has grown and I have created jobs for three assistants to help withthe support roles, I am dedicated to work closely with every single one of myclients because I love what I do; helping them with my abilities, experience, and vision to travel their own journey to home ownership…or freedom from itwhen the time comes. The added beauty isthat this path looks different for every person, and I get to appreciate theunique journey I share with each client.
St. Petersburg is ourhome and I absolutely love it! Through aloyal and mutually rewarding relationship, I apply my experience to helpclients with their real estate needs, always working with honesty andintegrity. I think it is important for prospectiveclients to learn about who I am as they begin to work with me. My journey to this time in my life has notalways been easy, but looking back, it seems clear to me that my experiencesled me to right where I belong! My hopeis that by sharing my journey, you will appreciate my knowledge and experience. Almost 85% of my business comes frompast clients whom I have helped on their real estate journey. Invite me to help you with yours!
