About Janet

After graduating from Virginia Tech in 1997 with a BS in Political Science, Janet found her true calling in Real Estate in very short order. With less than 2 years in the business, Janet was recognized as a Top Producer by the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors (NVAR), was ranked in the Top 1% of residential sales in North America by Realty Alliance and is recognized as a Lifetime Member of the NVAR Multi-Million Dollar Sales Club. 

In 2012, Janet co-founded the award-winning  “Dwellus” brand, and realized her vision of creating  Dwellus Luxury Homes International. Dwellus became an icon team in the industry, consistently ranking in the Top 5 for Large Teams by the Wall Street Journal Real Trends “The Thousand” and “America’s Best.” In her unremitting pursuit of professional growth, Janet became the CEO of the #1 Brokerage in Loudoun County in 2016 and in 2020 was appointed Director of Growth & Business Development for The Virginia Alliance Group at Keller Williams Realty, an organization of 1300+ agents in Northern Virginia and Richmond.

In 2022, Janet made the move to REAL Broker - the fastest growing publicly traded real estate company in the U.S. and currently serves as a Growth Ambassador for the DMV and is member of the Leadership Advisory Board (LAB) to the C-Suite executives team. She founded the forward thinking, powerhouse team, ALIGNED Real Estate Group, in 2024 and currently serves as CEO of the rapidly growing organization.

In spite of her busy career, Janet’s core belief is based on the motto: God, Family, Business – in that order. She is a wife, mother of five, active member at her beloved Community Church in Ashburn, Virginia, and serves on The Board of Directors of The Faithful Agent non-profit organization. Janet’s passion is to serve and lead others to fulfill their greater purpose in business and life.
