‘Like many people, we weren't seeing very good returns on our investments and decided we wanted to diversify into real estate and met Teresa Eaton. Her passion and our commitment-free initial meeting not only put us at ease, but also made us realize we had a winner. She was articulate and crystal-clear at every step of the way. We signed a buyer representation agreement before she took us to see our first property but only after she sent us a multitude of listings and seeing her in action for a period of time. Teresa was 'rookie of the year' in my opinion as several other interested parties were also interested in the property before it was to be listed. She counseled us on a pre-list offer technique with an expertly researched price that in the end won us the property. In fact, the property was so nice, one set of our in-laws decided they wanted it - I rented that place within 24 hours! As they got to know Teresa, our in-laws realized the difference between her and their de-facto agent from a number of years ago and decided to sell their house through her - they were ecstatic with the results. Another family member that overheard us talking about her engaged her and sold their property in a matter of days for twenty thousand dollars over list price with a bidding war. I'm not sure what I can say. Personally, I didn't feel she made enough money for the effort she put in. It's amazing what integrity, passion, and commitment to a client brings. In all the agents I ever dealt with, I can't remember feeling I had a partner. She would bring back expert reports on properties I was interested in and due diligence on the community, including not just neighborhoods and school rankings, but also proximity information that matched the lifestyle of the classification of prospective tenants we wanted - she did this so we could appeal to specific target markets for the rental. I just can't say enough. Look, agent ads with photos and word of mouth separate the probables from the possibles when it comes to finding a rest estate agent to help list or buy a home or investment, but you can't judge the true caliber of an individual from those. You instantly know Teresa's caliber the moment you meet her. I'm a VP of an 800 person organization at one of most recognized brand names in the world - my job is to spot talent and I know a winner after observing behaviors even in a relative short period of time - Teresa is a winner. I just wish she handled capital investments and our RRSP with the same results, but she tells me it is real estate only.’
