Thank you for taking the time to read about me. I am a professional realtor with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices EWM Realty and would be honored to help you with your real estate needs.  Providing exceptional service is the cornerstone of my business.  Although I work with a superb team of professionals, it is my personal involvement in every transaction, every step of the way, that makes my services unique and insures successful outcomes. I maintain a very high standard of excellence by representing a limited number of clients at any given time and place a great deal of importance on protecting your privacy and interest.  Strategic marketing and contract negotiations are my specialties and it is these skills, along with the integrity with which I conduct business, that my clients value.

I’ve spent most of my adult life in Pinecrest, Coconut Grove, and Coral Gables, and these neighborhoods are like my backyard.  It is my business to know everything about the local market and to help you understand the complexities of buying and selling real estate.    I want my buyers and sellers to know that their trust in my services are well-placed and that they can relax while I do all the work.

I am a member of The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, an exclusive organization of highly skilled and knowledgeable professionals who specialize in the luxury residential market. I’m also a trustee of Residential Options of Florida, a nonprofit corporation dedicated to housing advocacy for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  Additionally, I serve on the boards of three nonprofit corporations, The Barnacle Society, in support of The Barnacle Historic State Park in Coconut Grove, Florida,  the Garden Fund, in support of Pinecrest Gardens and African Conservancy, a non-profit organization whose mission is to preserve the last remaining African wilderness for the benefit of wildlife and humanity.  As you can see, empowerment, inclusion, environment and community are very important to me.

I was educated at Northwestern University and Florida International University (FIU) and hold a Masters Degree in Biology, a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science and a license in Dental Hygiene.  I served as an adjunct professor at FIU for several years and then became co-founder of Captain Rick’s Gourmet Foods with my husband Rick, a retired 747 Captain, before embarking on a career in real estate.  Our son Josh, who also holds a Florida real estate license, is a talent acquisition consultant.
