About Karen

A native Washingtonian, Karen has seen first hand the growth and expansion throughout the area. She, along with her husband and family, have called Northern Virginia their home for over 35 years. In the early 80’s, Karen discovered her affinity for real estate, which led to her working for real estate management companies. During this period, she developed and cemented her skills of evaluating, investing, and managing real properties, successfully handling both residential and commercial. Karen also co-founded Design Business Furniture, Inc. in 1992. Design Business Furniture is listed as “one of the top office furniture companies” by The Washington Business Journal. Her extensive real estate and related business experience has enhanced her ability to find homes for buyers, individuals, families and businesses, small and large, with personal attention to detail and with professionalism. Understanding the importance of maximizing equity, not over-improving and staging the property, she also provides her listing clients with a keen insight into the essentials of selling their home.
